Youth Workshops at Library

Jenny Rodgers, Youth Services Coordinator, Levy County Public Library System

The Cedar Key Public Library will be the site of two special programs for children tomorrow (March 25) beginning at 5 p.m.

First, the library`s Youth Services Coordinator Jenny Rodgers will lead a craft project designed for children 7-10 years old. Children of all ages are welcome, however. The library will supply all materials needed for the crafts projects.

Later, at about 5:30 p.m., Ms. Rodgers will give a workshop in using a digital camera to take btter photos, upload the photos to the internet and email them to family and friends.

Participants will take photos and learn many new skillls during the workshop. The library will have several cameras for the use of participants, or they may bring their own.
