Management Change at Cedar Key Scrub

Cedar Key Scrub Reserve has a new manager, namely Kristin Ebersol. Ms. Ebersol replaces Jeff DiMaggio who has been the manager for the past eleven years. Ms. Ebersol comes to Cedar Key after serving at the Florida Talbot Island State Park. She has been with the Florida State Parks for nearly seven years.

Ms. Ebersol has responsibility for both the Reserve and the Cedar Key Museum State Park. The two park units are served by a staff of three. Visitors of the two attractions can use nature trails and view museum displays of anthropological and biological artifacts. The Florida State Park Service is proud to have won the National Gold Medal each of the past two years. That is the first time any park system has received that honor.

Departing Scrub Preserve Manager Jeff DiMaggio has accepted a promotion to District Fir Management Officer in District 2. He will be based in Gainesville.
