EASTER WEEK
In the clear interest of fine dental health and the care for youngsters at Easter time, each child, under ten-years-old, received a toothbrush, toothpaste, and an Easter bunny!

VOLUNTEERS REMAIN CRITICAL
Cedar Key School teen volunteers made the prepackaging and delivery of food manageable in their energetic, helpful way, again. Instead of moving back and forth to the Pantry with each delivery to each client’s trunk, the efficient lot of tens managed a wagon system. They filled a wagon full of prepackaged food and delivered a package each to some five to seven cars before having to return to the Pantry itself. “Perhaps, some time and motion students have we here. Very efficient, indeed,” remarked Cedar Key Food Pantry Director Sue Colson.

SUPPLIERS
The Bread of the Mighty, Gainesville’s food pantry which sells food to other more rural pantries, is not currently providing stores. The USDA continues to deliver. “Affordable meat is a scarcity,” reports Cedar Key Food Pantry Director Sue Colson. Colson was proud to announce that this week 63 families were served; 179 individual were fed.
