Please, see the below coastal flood advisory in effect until Thursday. No significant issues are expected as these are common during severe weather conditions.  Be reminded that residents who live along the water should  make sure that any vehicles or other property in areas that are prone to nuisance flooding should be protected, and people should avoid driving through any flooded roadways as it is likely saltwater which can damage their vehicles.
 
COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM EDT THURSDAY
The National Weather Service in Tampa Bay Ruskin has issued a
Coastal Flood Advisory, which is in effect until 6 PM EDT
Thursday.
 COASTAL FLOODING...A combination of abnormally high tides and
surge from Sally will allow water levels to run 2-3 feet Above
Ground Level (3.5 - 4.5 feet MSL) during times of high tide
through Thursday.
 COASTAL FLOOD TIMING...During afternoon high tides through
Thursday.
 COASTAL FLOOD IMPACTS...Minor coastal flooding, especially low-
lying roads or other areas sensitive to nuisance flooding.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Coastal Flood Advisory indicates that onshore winds and tides
will combine to generate flooding of low areas along the shore.
