CF CORPORATE COLLEGE OFFERS SPECIALIZED COURSES IN WORKING REMOTELY

September 25, 2020

College of Central Florida Corporate College has partnered with the Ocala/Marion County Chamber & Economic Partnership to provide free, virtual remote worker and remote leadership courses for anyone working away from their normal work environment. Classes will be offered multiple times throughout the fall.

The Remote Worker course focuses on setting up and transitioning to a remote work environment including topics that workers may not have thought of or didn’t know how to implement, like remote work agreements and collaborating with remote co-workers. The Remote Leadership course focuses on successfully managing a remote team and includes topics such as: keeping your team productive and making sure you have and are following good policies. Helpful self-assessments, templates, sample policies and other useful documents will be provided.  Participants who successfully complete these courses will receive a digital badge through Badgr and Continuing Education Units/Professional Development Credits toward the Society for Human Resources Management recertification.
