Although things are clearly not back to “normal,” we do hope that you can join us at the Arts Center this fall for the following activities.
 
GALLERIES
Maximum of 10 visitors in gallery at time, 6’ social distancing, masks when non-household members are also in attendance out of consideration for the health of others.

open daily through November 15. 10 am to 5 pm
 
WORDS AND WORKS OF ART,
AN OPEN COMMUNITY EXHIBIT
Opens Saturday, November 21 through January 2, 2021, while closed Christmas Day
Entry forms are available at the Arts Center and on-line at www.CedarKeyArtsCenter.org. Drop off entries by 5pm, Tuesday, November 17. There will not be a formal opening due to the pandemic. Winners, including a People’s Choice Award, will be announced in January. New member Sandy Witcher will be featured in the Member Artist Gallery.
 
JANUARY THROUGH APRIL
Exciting exhibits are planned for both galleries in 2021. Although we are not sure if we will be able to host opening receptions, we hope that you will mark your calendars and plan to visit the shows during the month.
 
WORKSHOPS
Maximum of 9 participants and one instructor, 6’ social distancing, masks highly recommended for indoor workshops.
 
SILK DYEING WITH VIRGINIA STEVENSON

AFTER THE FIRST OF THE YEAR,
we plan to offer additional workshops beginning in January. If, because of the pandemic, this is not possible, we will work to provide links or access to on-line instruction via ZOOM.

BOAT BUILDERS
Outdoors, social distancing, masks recommended if social distancing cannot be maintained. Boat Builders will resume meeting on Wednesday, November 17. LECTURE SERIES
We are working on a lecture series starting after the first of the year. Again, if necessary, we will hope that we can make these available via ZOOM.

will go on sale in December around town. The Arts Center is offering a $5 off coupon that can be applied to your annual membership, future Arts Center workshops, or upstairs gallery purchases. Plan to support the Cedar Key School by buying a Coupon Book in December. They make great holiday gifts😊.
