LEVY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT WEATHER ALERT
November 5, 2020
The NHC and NWS are still watching Eta very closely to see where it will end up. There is still a lot of uncertainty in the track of the storm and the potential impacts to Levy County are still unknown, but as of right now it is not expected to cause any significant issues, but we will keep a close eye on it and keep you posted. We are not anticipating any need for evacuations, shelterings, or closures.
We are continuing to try to remind the public that Hurricane Season is not over, and they should continue to keep their disaster kits and plans up to date and ready to go whenever they may be needed.
Preparedness is a year-round activity.
