"Of the thousands of photos I took this year, this shot of a red-shouldered hawk in my yard sums up 2020 for me. The photo was taken after a night of storms and her eyes were warning me to keep my distance. The hawk seemed confused, disoriented, and disheveled. At the same time there was hope that as the storm subsided her world would recover."
