LEVY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 

DRIVE THROUGH VACCINATION SITE FRIDAY...ALL SLOTS FULL

The Florida Department of Health in Levy County will conduct their first drive-thru vaccination site in Williston near the Williston Horseman’s park on Friday February 5, 2021. The site is the large field just adjacent to Williston Horseman's park. It is the area where the Levy County Fair is traditionally located. 

FDOH is expected to administer 500 first dose vaccinations during the event on Friday. The site is by appointment only, and all appointment slots have been filled. The event will start around 8 am and is expected to last for the majority of the day.

As more vaccines become available, the ability to set up larger drive-thru events will be critical to the mission of ensuring the timely distribution of vaccines to the residents of Levy County and Florida.
