The Chief Theatre home of the Suwannee Valley Players (SVP) would like to invite you to experience Dracula for the Halloween season. Dracula is a symbol of darkness, evil, and sin. Dracula serves as the antithesis of God and morality. Therefore, Dracula cannot withstand light and water which are symbols of life. Light can guide a person through darkness and lead them to salvation. Water provides life and is symbolic of baptism. The story serves as an example of the power of Christ. Even Dracula’s consumption of blood is a perversion of Christian ritual. Tickets can be reserved by calling our Box Office Manager at 352-493-2787. Tickets are $12. You can keep track of what’s going on at The Chief Theatre by following us on our Facebook page.
A lot of effort has gone into costuming for the show as well as sound to help set the tone of the play as well as add excitement. We’re sure Dracula will be a thrilling experience for the community. Therefore, we would like to welcome you into the dark castle. The full moon is approaching; torches are being lit, Dracula sleeps no more. Gather your group together and come to Dracula’s castle, it is there you will build stronger bonds with your allies. Now is the time to contact the Box Office at 352-493-2787 and reserve your seats.
