We have received reports that people are saying that FEMA is going around Levy County giving out money cards. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE!

Levy County has submitted our request to the State of Florida to be reviewed for disaster assistance, but this will take some time. No one from FEMA, Emergency Management, or the State of Florida is giving out any money at this time.

If someone approaches you and says that they are a representative from FEMA, please report it to the Levy County Sheriff's Office.

We will keep you notified if and when any financial assistance becomes available
