BUTTERFLY ACTION IN THE GARADEN
February 23, 2020
Butterfly action is waxing in the Cedar Key Community Garden. What might look like a bit of whatever you would like to brush away, as in the first picture here, that bit turns out to be a chrysalis, the transitional state from pupa to a butterfly. A more developed chrysalis is more clearly shown hanging in the second picture.
This chrysalis is on the plant in the center of the Garden under the palm tree near the water on/off valve. More butterflies to come! Keep your eyes peeled.
