I hear they’ve closed Number Four.
And is that something that’s been done before?
The answer is Yes,
But only at times of distress.
And is that something that’s been done before?
The answer is Yes,
But only at times of distress.
First to relate,
1865 was the date,
When for history buffs,
Union and Confederate traded fisticuffs.
1865 was the date,
When for history buffs,
Union and Confederate traded fisticuffs.
And who could forget the phenomena Elena
That surely tested Cedar Key’s stamina.
As rain and floods and tidal surges
put a stop on our usual purposes.
That surely tested Cedar Key’s stamina.
As rain and floods and tidal surges
put a stop on our usual purposes.
And now the latest event to mire us
Is the dreaded Chinese coronavirus,
So best keep your distance,
At least in this instance.
Is the dreaded Chinese coronavirus,
So best keep your distance,
At least in this instance.
For the future, we trust our vigilance
Will overcome this pestilence.
Then we’ll get through together
And be stronger together.
Will overcome this pestilence.
Then we’ll get through together
And be stronger together.
