MORE NATURE COAST BIOLOGICAL STATION NEWS

 Editor’s Note:  The following is excerpted from the University of Florida Nature Coast Biological Station’s Monthly Newsletter “UF IFAS  Nature Coast News,” April 2021, written by Director Mike Allen.  

 Construction has been completed for the third floor of the NCBS, and the aquarium renovations are actively underway.  We anticipate the completion of that work by early summer.  We will hold an open house event this fall to share the new space and recognize the Levy County Tourism Bureau, who helped fund this project through the RESTORE funding.  Stay tuned for dates for that event.  These projects will provide enhanced opportunities for the public to visit the facility and learn about natural resources and aquaculture in the Nature Coast region.
