THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 20 AT 5 PM
"The Serengeti Rules," PBS film, in which award-winning biologist and author Sean Carroll tells stories of the pioneering scientists who sought answers to some of life's most profound and important questions. One of those scientists is Dr. John Terborgh, James B. Duke Professor Emeritus of Environmental Science at Duke University, who currently is affiliated with the University of Florida and Cook University in Cairns, Australia, and makes his home in Cedar Key. His work focuses on tropical ecology, plant-animal interactions, and trophic cascades. Dr. Terborgh plans to be our guest at the film's showing.

Medicare "Be Scam Smart," a special program of Elder Options! to teach on detecting, reporting, and protecting against scams, identity theft, fraud, and will cover genetic testing, scams on braces, and others. Kristina Young, SHINE Outreach and Education Specialist will be the presenter.
