QUESTION: Want to know if you have developed antibodies against COVID-19 through exposure to the virus or from being vaccinated?
ANSWER: The University of Florida COVID Follow-Up Screening Study may be able to tell you, if you were part of last ear’s April 30, May 1, 2020, UF Screening in Cedar Key.
A sample of blood in 2020 and a finger-prick drop or two of blood now will allow UF researchers to give you that answer.
WHY IS THIS IMPORTTANT?
1. Self-knowledge is a great thing.
2. The test may also tell you if you have developed antibodies against SARS-COV-2 from being vaccinated.
3. You will contribute to important research studying COVID.

QUESTION: What if I was part of the 2020 study and had blood drawn then, but now I’m unable to get to Cedar Key to participate now.
ANSWER: UF still wants what data you can provide. Please, search your email for the UF message or call 352 273-9561 to get an email. Then complete the survey and email it back to the UF. They may be able to use your survey question answers in their studies.
