Please, join us for the 52nd annual Old Florida Celebration of the Arts in Cedar Key Saturday and Sunday April 9 and 10 from 10 - 5 pm.
Historic Second Street will host 123 fine arts booths featuring painting, jewelry, photography, drawing, metal, pottery, mixed media, sculpture, and fiber/leather. Artists are coming from as far away as Brown County Indiana, and as local as Cedar Key.
There will be the usual fare at the park as the Lion's club is hosting the non-profit food vendors and local non-profit vendors. We will have a face painter and a children's art area in the park as well.
The Fine Art’s Judge is Jerry Smith, Chief Curator at the St Petersburg Museum of Fine Art, as our artists compete for over $18,000 in prizes and purchase awards. This is a great opportunity to purchase fine art in our Island community. T-Shirts, posters and post cards with our Vintage Cedar Key Design by Diana Tonnessen will be for sale at the Information Booth on Second Street.
