PREPARATION FOR DREDGE UNDERWAY

August 2, 2019

Inner Marina Maintenance Dredging scheduled to start August 5, 2019 and will continue for six weeks. Inner Marina ramp will be closed Monday through Friday during dredging.

The material removed, all Department of Environmental Protection and Army Corps of Engineers approved, will be moved to the Cemetery Point Park to sun bake and become fertile earth. 

The material will be placed in the large depression on the park's south side. 

The puctres below are taken as one walks off the boardwalk entrance to the park.   The black plastic marks the far edge of the work area. 

The sign warns of trucks entering the area.
