Rising cases of COVID-19 in the area have necessitated temporary changes in the City.
As of Thursday, January 8, 2021, specifics about City Hall functions and personnel, excluding police, follow.
1. No staff has tested positive with the Florida Department of Health yet; results are expected Friday or early next week.
2. Three City Hall staff are quarantaining, hence the partial shutdown.
3. The Public Works Department is working in the field with a skeleton staff.
4. The Building Department can be reached by telephone for construction and building concerns.
5. The partial shutdown is expected to last into next week, the week of January 11.
6. Mayor Heath Davis is self-quarantaining now.
