JEAN MARIE PITTS WILKERSON  1941 - 2020

Jean Marie Pitts Wilkerson passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at the Tri Counties Hospice Care Center in Chiefland, FL.  She was 79.

Born May 7, 1941 in Chicago, IL, to Charles and Mildred Hebner.

Jean went to college and became a schoolteacher of special education for 30 years. She was someone who would help out any way she could in the community. She was someone who would help and shelter anybody in need.

She loved all five of her kids:  Jeff, Gary, Christine, Gerard, and Gerold and her 12 grandchildren.  She was the backbone to her family and the light in their lives!

A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Friday, September 18, 2020, at the Cedar Key Cemetery, in Cedar Key, FL.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10 – 11 am.
