It has been four years since the Cedar Key Community Garden was established with the help of residents and businesses of Cedar Key.  

During this time, we have established a comment book for visitors to write in.  Over the last four years, there have been thousands of comments written in the tablets.  Of course, there are comments about the Garden but also expressions of love for a partner, prayers for a child, artwork, poems, children’s big block print, and many positive comments about our City.

 The comment book was taken out of the Garden, at the end of March, due to Covid-19 handling concerns.  The first two comments are the last two comments in the book before it was taken temporarily out of the Garden. 

 The  If the world was this simple and beautiful, we would all be o k.

Thank you for providing a place of peace and beauty during a time of chaos and turmoil in the world and for individuals going through hard times who just need a moment to breath.

 We first stumbled upon this garden two years ago. It is the type of place that we associate with Cedar Key, charming and full of personality.

 Every time we come here we enjoy this slice of heaven. Last year we grew cow peas from your seeds.

 Our first visit to Cedar Key and this Community Garden. What a joy to see it so prosperous. We met the friendly orange cat. We will be back.
