Donations requested Each year, CK youngsters practice the art of giving to others as they attend the Kids Christmas Shop and choose a present for their mom and for their dad. Kindergarten through 5th graders will participate in the event which is sponsored by the CK Eagles Auxiliary.
The gifts are new items donated to or purchase by the ladies of the auxiliary. Each item will sell for $.25. Volunteers will pass on a quarter to the those kids in need. After the child has chosen a gift and it`s been wrapped by a volunteer, the gift card will be signed by the child.
Before leaving the auditorium, each child will have a special visit with Santa.
Of all the events sponsored throughout the year, the Kids Christmas Shop warms your heart. The Auxiliary needs your help. We need gift items and/or financial donations for purchasing gift items. We need 232 gifts, 116 for moms and 116 for dads. With an average cost of $3.00 per gift, approximately $450.00 is needed to meet the goal of $696.00 for the project.
Gift items need to be new & in their original packaging and may be delivered to the clubhouse at the between Noon & 7:00 pm daily on or before Sunday, December 17. Monies may be mailed to the Eagles Auxiliary F.O.E. 4194, P.O. Box 283, Cedar Key, FL. 32625. Thank you for your support to this community project and joyful holiday event. Janet Cook
New time for Eagles Auxiliary Bi-Monthly Meetings 7:00 pm, every 2nd & 4th Monday of each month
As requested by our membership, finally, our meeting times have been changed. We will no longer meet at 7:30; but will gather at our clubhouse at 7:00 pm..
All members are encouraged to attend. Eagles Auxiliary Christmas Party Ladies, plan to join us for our Auxiliary Christmas Party at 7:00 pm on Monday, Dec. 11. Bring a platter of finger food to share, a gift to exchange ($25.00 retail value limit) and a smile. After a brief meeting, we`ll celebrate the holidays together! Eagles Christmas Party
Friday, December 15 from 3:00 until 7:00 pm All Eagles, mark your calendar for a night of holiday cheer at our clubhouse. There will be music, food, prizes and fun galore. See you there!!!
