COMMUNITY RATING SYSYEM…"APPROPRIATELY AND EFFECTIVELY" SUCCESSFUL

The City of Cedar Key has been working on entrance into the Community Rating System.

On February 27, 2019, the City of Cedar Key received a letter regarding the Closure of Cedar Key's NFIP field Community Assistance Visit Report and were advised that the SFMO found that the City of Cedar Key is appropriately and effectively implementing its floodplain management program in accordance with the NFIP.
