The first booth visitors encountered as they entered the Second Street venue featured spectacular metal sculptures by Kevin Jenkins, who was the recipient of a purchase award by Nature Coast Realty.  Acrylic on canvas, by Miriam Novack.

Virginia Chen of Gainesville, a regular participant in the Cedar Key show, filled her booth with watercolors that featured nature themes. The quality and variety of the 120-plus exhibits at the 2008 "Old Florida Celebration of the Arts" gives promise of perpetuation of Cedar Key as an "art destination." |
