Arts and crafts booths on Second Street welcomed many shoppers.

Opening day, October 18, of the Cedar Key Seafood Festival began with an early crowd and the traditional parade that drew many spectators.


The traditional parade was led by Chiefland's VFW Post 5625 color guard.


The Cedar Key History Museum was approriately represented in the parade by an antique Ford.


Cedar Key kids get to participate in the parade.


Creatively decorated golf carts always join the Seafood Festival parade, in this photo is first place winner, Women of the Swamp.


Opposing candidates for Property Appraiser joined the parade, Oz Barker in the lead and Francis Akins' supporters following.


Seacreature contest entrant Casey Ross who took first place.
