Although the museum will remain closed, the #Cedar Key Pride Poster Competition is still open, and the deadline extended to May 21, 2020. There are four categories from which to choose:
Commercial Fishing in Cedar Key
Net Ban in Cedar Key
Family History in Cedar Key/Cedar Key Family Tree
General Interest about Cedar Key, Atsena Otie, people, hurricanes/storms, environment, industries, Native Americans, wildlife, etc.
The contest is open to all school-aged children.
A $100 prize is earned by each category winner.
