NEW CKPOTTERY 2019
Just in time for the Cedar Key Seafood Festival, the 2014 Cedar Key Woman’s Club Calendar has arrived in town. Last year this wonderful souvenir sold out in less than a month, and the quality of this year’s production will guarantee even higher sales.
Members and friends contributed Cedar Key high quality photographs, and the result has been the production of another very professional calendar. The Cedar Key Woman’s Club has been swamped with orders, as families pick up the $10 product to mail memories to family and friends in other places.
”We are just so pleased with the reception the calendars have had in Cedar Key, “ says Vicki Crumpley, who has coordinated the project. “People love the pictures, and know that the proceeds from the sale stay here to benefit Cedar Key.”
The calendar is available at the Chamber of Commerce and The Gathering Place on 2nd St., at Dilly Dally on the dock, and from Ada Blue’s at Sunset Isle. The Woman’s Club shrimp nacho stand in the park this Festival weekend will also have a limited supply!
With over 40 members, the Cedar Key Woman’s Club is a continuing tradition in the City, supporting community projects from 1960 on. Each year the Club donates a $1000 scholarship to a graduating CKS student, as well as donating to the school itself. The CK Library, our Brownie troop, the CK Fire Department, the Food Pantry, and Another Way Women’s shelter are also supported. In addition, in the last two years the Woman’s Club has donated over $4500 towards the building of Fisher House, which will open soon, attached to the Gainesville VA Hospital.

Your purchase of the 2014 calendar helps to support these important Cedar Key programs.
