CEDAR KEY SPRING ARTS FESTIVAL BOAT TRAFFIC ANNOUNCEMENT, ROAD CLOSURESAPRIL 17 AND 18, 2021
As weekends have been busy in Cedar Key this spring and bridge construction downtown has compromised parking, the Old Florida Celebration of the Arts is asking for residents and visitors to be aware of the following traffic concerns during the upcoming event April 17 and 18.
· Pleasure boaters and sports fisherman should avoid Cedar Key on Festival Weekend as boat access downtown will be extremely limited.
· Parking on 2nd Street will be for artists only after 3 pm Friday to allow for COVID -conscious layout of booths in the center of the street. Parked cars must be moved by 2:30 pm.
· Weekend visitors should be aware the parking downtown is compromised because of bridge construction, consider car-pooling, use side-streets of 24 if possible and be aware that parking is available at the Cedar Key School.
