When the Smithsonian returns to Cedar Key with its Museum on Main Street Moms) Exhibit…Crossroads: Change in Rural America, a variety of weekend events are planned from September 8 through October 13, 2018.
The Crossroads theme celebrates and shares with the community how Cedar Key is at a literal, as well as many figurative, crossroads. The theme is as simple or as complex one’s’ imagination allows it to be. Cedar Key’s heart literally centers at the intersection of State Road 24 and Second Street. Figuratively, Cedar Key has been at many crossroads threatening its existence and has remained resilient and strong.
Each weekend event is planned to reflect this theme.
