LEVY SCHOOLS CLOSED 03/16/2020 - 03/20/2020

Per Executive Order by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, all Levy County Public Schools shall be closed the week of Monday, 03/16/2020 through Friday, 03/20/2020. The existing Spring Break dates of Monday, 03/23/2020 through Friday 03/27/2020 shall remain off as well. Twelve month employees shall report to work as usual during both these weeks.  Teachers should not come in to work on the Teacher Workday that was scheduled for Monday, 03/16/2020. All extracurricular activities, both academic and athletic, are cancelled from Saturday, 03/14/2020 to Monday, 03/30/2020. The Suwanee River Fair is not managed by the School Board of Levy County, so is not included in this directive. All schools will be undergoing deep cleaning, and the district will be working on an educational continuity plan. School will resume Monday, 03/30/2020, and testing that was scheduled for that week will be delayed at least two weeks.
