WREATHS FOR VETERANS’ EFFORT NEEDS YOUR HELP

Saturday April 24 volunteers are needed to record the graves at the Cedar Key Cemetery.  We think 30 people are needed to do this in half a day and several working together would be good.

We will start at 8 am and each person will have a designated area to write down the graves in that area.  The older records of the City apparently don’t have all the burials listed and we want to memorialize them as well as get a list of the US Military Veterans.

The hope is to have  wreaths for all Veterans to place as memorials for their service this coming Christmas season from Wreaths Across America.  We need to get their burial places recorded to buy and place the wreaths.  If this happens, there will be a dedication ceremony on National Wreath Day on Saturday December 18, 2021.
