Tricks, Treats & Creepy Crawlies at the Library

Community Service Announcement

The Cedar Key Public Library will be the site of TRICKS, TREATS and CREEPY CRAWLIES on Tuesday, October 30, 2007 from 4 to 8 p.m.

This is the date that has been designated by the City of Cedar Key for the annual Trick or Treat celebration.

CREEPY CRAWLIES OF CEDAR KEY

As part of the celebration, at 4 p.m. a very special program will be given by Dan and Judy Dourson. They will bring a collection of snakes, tortoises, spiders and other reptiles and amphibians they have gathered from the Cedar Key area.

Dan is an experienced herpetologist who studies the snake population on Seahorse Key, as well as numerous species in many parts of the world.

Be sure to dress up in your costume, bring your trick or treat bag and come to the library to learn about the creatures that live close to us in Cedar Key.
