Despite the constant threat of rain and a couple of impressive downpours in the early morning hours both mornings, the “Re-Envisioned COVID-Conscious” Old Florida Celebration of the Arts was open for business all day Saturday, April 17, and most of the day April 18. A talented and tenacious group of artists ‘weathered the weather’ and most were glad to have made the trip to Cedar Key last weekend despite a smaller crowd. Heavy rain Sunday evening put a damper on the end of the day and made take-down challenging for organizers and artists alike, but all were grateful for the sun during the day.
Many thanks to those that were able to join us in Cedar Key and to the dedicated group of volunteers, city staff, non-profit groups who sold food in the park and the businesses who helped sponsor the event.
