Sisters Present "Growing Up in Cedar Key"

Cedar Key Lions Club

Sisters Helen Johannesen and Lee Richberg, both born on Cedar Key, and whose Cedar Key family history dates back to the 1800s, will be the Cedar Key Lions Club guest speakers on Tuesday, January 23rd.

Miss Helen and Miss Lee will recount what it was like growing up in Cedar Key. Entertaining stories from their childhood years and fascinating nuggets of Cedar Key history, as can only be told by women who have lived and seen it first hand, promise to make this an evening of fond memories for old timers and invaluable oral history for newcomers.

The public is welcome to join Lions Club members and Miss Helen and Miss Lee at the Community Center on 6th street on Tuesday, January 23rd. Coffee, tea, and desserts will be served beginning at 6 pm, followed by the presentation at 7 PM.
