New Fire Chief for Cedar Key

Cedar Key Volunteer Fire Department has a new Fire Chief, and Assistant Fire Chief as well. According to Mayor Heath Davis, Robert Robinson and Jeff DiMaggio respectively have been chosen as Chief and Assistant Chief. Robinson has served as Assistant Chief up until the recent resignation of Chief James McCain. Davis said that he anticipates service to continue on its past high level. In fact, the Fire Department has responded to several calls in the past two weeks.
