Black Dog Bar & Tables Opens on Dock Street | Black Dog Bar & Tables Opens on Dock StreetJim Hoy The Black Dog Bar & Tables opens for business February 12, the newest business on Cedar Key`s Dock Street. This wine and cigar bar will be open 11:00 AM till 10:00 PM, seven days a week. Otis, a black Labradoodle, is the namesake of the bar. He is four years old and an eager consumer of French fries. A full range of wines and cigars are offered as well as espresso, cappuccino and herbal teas. The owners of the establishment are Connie and Jay Edge. Connie is a native Floridian, while Jay is from Kansas City. Connie is a former account executive for a cosmetic company. Jay has been in the restaurant and bar business prior to coming to Cedar Key three months ago. The Edges aim is to provide a place to enjoy companionship, fine wine and conversation.
