Many Winners at Cedar Key Arts Show

Many Winners at Cedar Key Arts Show

Two fine spring days favored exhibitors and visitors of the Old Celibaration of Arts, Cedar Key`s annual arts show. Ten thousand dollars in prizes and seven thousand dollars in purchase awards went further to make the exhibitors happy. Jean Yao of Ft. Lauderdale won Best in Show with her fiber baskets of incredible design.

Susan Dauphinee of Cedar Key, who won Best 2-D in Show for her paintings.


Tetty and Vickie Hunt with their Best 3-D in Show.


Joseph Freyeof Clanton Alabama who won recognition with an Award of Excelence.


Colleen Hodge who received a Purchase Award for her delicately woven woodwork.


Joe Wujcik who was rcognized with an Award of Excelence for his wood work.


Barbara Umbel of Pawly's Island, SC, wearing some of her award winning jewelry.

The above artists are only a few of the artists that received Awards of Excelnce or Purchase Awards. Furthermore, many of the show visitors listends to music in City Park as they ate food provided by local charities.
