FFA Comes to City Hall Officers and a state-wide contest winner of the Cedar Key School came to the July 5 City Commission meeting. They led the Pledge to the Flag and were then recognized for their outstanding record as a chapter and as individuals at a recent state-wide competition. Cedar Key School, the smallest school in Florida, won the State Championship. Furthermore, Kit Riley took first place in Aquaculture, State-wide. The various plaques and individual trophies will be on display in City Hall so that community members will be able to review the FFA Chapter`s great success. Note that this is the first year that a Senior FFA Chapter has been functioning in Cedar Key School. |
