Last Program:
The time has come for our LAST program of the season. We have had a wonderful time and learned a lot from our speakers, beginning in December of 2018. We know many of you have returned to your other homes, and we're hoping those of you still in Cedar Key will join us on Thursday, April 11, at 5 p.m., for an interesting talk on ongoing research in the Common Snook in the Gulf of Mexico.
Presenters Johnny Polasik and Brian Klimek, of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, will talk on "Range Expansion, Movement Patterns, and Life History of Common Snook in Cedar Key, Florida." We've been told this ongoing research has brought expanded knowledge of this important Gulf species.
and.........
We hope you will have an enjoyable few months until our next lecture series begins at the end of the year. In a few weeks, you will receive an email from us giving you the opportunity to evaluate the season's talks, plus give us suggestions for speakers/topics you'd like to have at the library. We look forward to your responses.
and more........
If you are remaining in Cedar Key, would you be interested in attending (in our comfortable air-conditioned meeting room!) an occasional program during the summer months? If so, please let us know. We do get random opportunities to host very interesting speakers during the "off" months, and if we know there will be an audience, we are more than happy to accommodate them.
Cheers!
