LEVY PUBLIC LIBRARY SYSTEM
his year the Levy County Public Library System started a Harry Potter Stem Club. The youth enjoyed reading the first book in the Harry Potter series and met at the Bronson Public Library twice a month. The youth partook in Stem related activities related to the chapters that they just read. After the youth finished the first book, a large number of the students met at Universal Studios to visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
Due to the overwhelming success of the club, the Levy County Public Library will be expanding this program and has created a second club in Chiefland. The Bronson Branch will be continuing with the Second Book, and The First book will be started at the Luther Callaway Public Library. Dates will be announced on the Levy County Public Library Programs Facebook page.

This project was funded under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act from the Institute of Museum and Library Services. Florida’s LSTA program is administered by the Department of State’s Division of Library and Information Services.
