The Levy County School Board announced today that Principal Josh Slemp will be replaced by current Cedar Key School instructor Kathy Lawrence. The announcement was made today at Cedar Key School by Levy County Schools Superintendent Jeffrey Edison. 

Mr. Slemp's next  assignment will be announced soon.  

Mrs. Lawrence currently teaches high school math and is the Reading Coach at CKS. She earned her bachelor’s degree in English and mathematics, has a master’s degree in English, and holds endorsements in reading and administration. Mrs. Lawrence's 39 years in education include positions as both a teacher and as an administrator.
