Butch: Our Cat of the Year

Butch is a downtown cat of such impressive qualities we are naming him Cat of the Year. Butch has adopted the Cedar Key Police Department. He is clearly the fat cat of City Hall. His history is known only to the extent that one clipped ear shows that he is now participating in Cedar Key`s cat planned parenthood program (TNR; thanks, Doreen and Oliver).

Butch sports a magnificent set of whiskers that testify to his good health. His placid nature and conspicuous self-confidence make him welcome everywhere when he is on his "beat" on 2nd Street, in between meals at the Police Department.
