CEDAR KEY SONGFARMERS...EVERY SUNDAY…2 PM

Cedar Key’s first SongFarmer acoustic music jam was held Sunday afternoon, February 2, 2020, upstairs at the Cedar Key Library.  Eighteen musicians combined their skills on guitars, mandolin, upright bass, dobro, banjo, flute, harmonica and ukulele for a fun two hours.  The musicians and an enthusiastic crowd of over 50 enjoyed the event. 

SongFarmers is a national grass roots effort to re-introduce “front porch picking” to communities. There are approximately 55 communities across the country hosting Song Farmer events.  Cedar Key is the fifth SongFarmer organization in Florida.  

SongFarmers will be meeting each Sunday at 2pm upstairs in the Cedar Key library for two hours.  The event is free and open to the public, both players and listeners are welcome!
