Finding your muse may be easier than you think for writers working on their novels. Authors Bill Bonner and Terri DuLong are presenting three days of Writing Your Novel Workshops. On January 7, 8 and 9, 2005, workshops on the craft and business of writing a novel will be presented on the picturesque island of Cedar Key. A schedule from 10:00A to 4:00P each day allows time to enjoy nature and relax while probing the depths of character development, inspired writing, realism in writing, manuscript revision, and helpful resources in the business, among other subjects. A critique service is also being offered at no additional cost. The workshop is being hosted by the Cedar Key Chamber of Commerce and will convene at Sunset Isle RV Park/Motel Clubhouse on State Road 24. To preserve the informality and relaxed atmosphere of the event, attendance is limited to the first 25 persons registering. The cost for the three-day workshop is $70 or $25 per day for those not able to attend the entire program. Suggestions for accommodations can be found on the Cedar Key website at www.cedarkey.org. Click on Lodging. The many wonderful restaurants on the island will enhance the experience of the participants. Additional information about the workshops including the schedule, subjects and registration can be found at www.bonnerdulong.com. You may also call Terri DuLong on 727-534-7143, Bill Bonner on 850-428-0244, or Denise Bierworth on 352-543-5375. Registration must be completed by December 20, 2004. |
