SUMMER MEALS PROVIDED FOR THOSE 18 OR UNDER

The school year may be ending on June 1st in Levy County, but the free breakfast and lunch programs will continue during the summer.
During June and July, the Levy County Food and Nutrition Services Department will provide a free breakfast and a free lunch to those who are 18 or younger in several locations around.
Here in Cedar Key, free meals will be available Monday through Thursday, beginning on June 4th and ending August 2nd.Teens and children do NOT have to be a CKS student to participate. Meals will be served in the cafeteria and must be eaten there.
This is the schedule for CKS:
Monday - Thursday (except July 4th)
Breakfast: 8 am - 9 am
Lunch: Noon - 1 pm
These meals are offered through Summer BreakSpot, which is part of the national Summer Food Service Program, a federally funded program operated by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and administered in Florida by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
