POTENTIAL TROPICAL CYCLONE 9
July 29, 2020
....
..... an update from David Peaton, Levy Emergency Mnagement
Please, continue preparing for the possibilities of strong winds, power outages, localized heavy rain with the potential for flooding, and areas along the coast should make sure that their property near the water is secured, should the NWS inform us of an increased likelihood of storm surge.
As of now, Levy Emergency Managemenat staff are still not anticipating the need for any evacuations or sheltering, but we will of course let you know if that changes.
If you still have not signed up for the Levy County Emergency Notification System, they should make sure that they are registered by visiting www.LevyDisaster.com
