The Board of Directors of the Cedar Key Lions Club voices its support of our club member, Jennie Pinto. As a community service organization, the club is totally dependent upon the volunteer efforts of its members to accomplish its service goals and community outreach activities. Jennie, as a long standing club member, has given countless volunteer hours. Whether she is making gumbo for a political candidate's forum or organizing and preparing a member's dinner, the club can always depend upon Jennie's culinary talents. Beyond the hours in the kitchen, Jennie regularly attends club meetings and provides positive and creative contributions as the club's Special Events Chair. Her dedication to the club is further shown by her recent sponsorship of several new club members. In 2005, Jennie was recognized for her outstanding volunteer service and work with the club by a plaque of commendation presented at our annual Governor's Dinner. We are proud of Lion Jennie!
