Small Boat Regatta Photos
Weekend of May 2nd & 3rd
The boats gather in Cedar Key the first weekend in May of each year. No formal planning or organizing is involved. Just like folks with a common love of small boats. This year there were about 70 boats in town for the event.
This first picture was taken early in the morning looking toward the airport bridge.
Pictures 2 and 3 were taken from the bridge to Dock Street. This viewpoint is best to see the boats when they are launching.
The 4th and 5th images are of boats heading to and from Atsena Otie.
And the last picture is a boat retuning to town past the remains of the Honeymoon Cottage.
