CKS NEWS:
This Thursday from 8 - 8:30 a.m. will be our Donuts with Grown-ups event for secondary students, and this Friday from 8 - 8:30 a.m. will be our Donuts with Grown-ups event for elementary students. Ideally, all students will check in with their 1st period/classroom teacher at the first bell for attendance purposes, then immediately head to the auditorium to meet up with their grown-up. I will send AVID students around to the classrooms to deliver donuts to any students whose grown-ups are unable to attend.

PTO has created a sign-up sheet for their booth at the Arts Festival. If you're a member of PTO, and willing and able to sign up for a shift, please reach out with your desired date/time, and I will add you to the sheet.
For the month of March, we've chosen to focus on reading (the "R" in WICOR), as well as how we're eliciting student responses in our classrooms (a tenet of Explicit Instruction).
CURRENT CKS FUNDRAISER:
CKS AVID students are selling Texas Roadhouse peanuts for $5/bag. Each bag comes with a coupon for a free appetizer at our Gainesville location (which costs more than $5!!). Let Jessi or an AVID student know if you're interested in purchasing.
