ARROW OF LIGHT

On Wednesday evening, August 7, 2019, some Cedar Key youngsters came of age  at the Cedar Key United Methodist Church.

James Custer and Marissa DeHaven presented the Arrow of Light award for the successful completion of Cub Scouts to Isaac Custer, Nate Walker, and Brodie Gill tonight. These boys are now officially Boy Scouts.

Cedar Key Vice-Mayo Sue Colson also presented the boys with Golden Clam awards from the City of Cedar Key.

The Arrow of Light Award is the highest rank in Cub Scouting. Earning this rank prepares a Scout to become a Boy Scout by completing all requirements for the Boy Scout badge.
